San Sebastian

Of all the cities I have visited, San Sebastian was my favorite. It helped that I had some time to settle in and enjoy what the city had to offer. There were Basque separatist demonstrations, fireworks displays, delicious pinxtos, crowded bars and restaurants, beautiful squares, boat races, and seaside promenades. And it goes without saying that I reread The Sun Also Rises. I'd love to go back.
