Zagreb, Croatia

Back on the train, this time to Zagreb, Croatia. We met some cool Australian law students along the way. Their guide book told us that Zagreb "really is a city of museums," but we thought the nightlife was pretty enjoyable too. Kids fill the park stretching across the city from the train station, and the main square at the other end of the park. There's a lovely view from the edge of the upper town. We hung out with some kids who were quoting lines from the movie The Warriors. Funny -- I saw Warriors graffiti in Kosovo. Kids in the Balkans apparently love that movie. I'm not sure whether they happened on it independently or whether it stems from their love of the Wu-Tang Clan, who quote it from time to time in their songs.
