My flight to Barcelona a while back ended my road- and train-trip through Eastern Europe. We visited Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy.
It went fast, but I had a great time along the way, got to see lots of places I'd never seen before, and I have some good ideas about where I'd like to return. The top two: Belgrade and the Albanian Riviera. But there are many others.
