People I'm staying with

Norman, a postman from Canada, is on a leave of absence. He did several week-long hikes in different parts of the country, including Fish River Canyon. One of the kindest, most at-peace people I've ever met. We'll miss you, Norman.
Jamie walked two blocks from his house in the South of England and hitched a ride. He continued -- hitchhiking and taking trains -- across the Middle East, and down the East side of Africa, until he arrived here. His favorite countries so far: Syria and Sudan. He's been on the road 8 months.
This truck belongs to a Czech couple. They left their home and drove down the east side of Africa, and now they're heading back up the West side.
