Pre-dawn.
In the Prado, I was completely overwhelmed by the works of Valezquez, Van Dyck, Rubens, Goya, El Greco, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. This painting was among my very favorites.
The palace is a lot bigger and more magnificent than I have shown you here.
One of seemingly dozens of pedestrian streets packed with people in the afternoon.
Bookstores inhabited by well-read proprietors.
