This first one is from the Djemma el-Fina, a big square in the middle of town. During the day, it's sunny and hot and not very crowded. But at night, it's packed. There are snake charmers, acrobats, henna tattoo artists, tables for delicious moroccan soup (35 cents a bowl), magicians, storytellers, actors, musicians of all kinds, and kiosks selling herbs, spices, and mountains of dates and other fruits.
Marrakech's market is full of fascinating sights and smells, but it pales in comparison to the sheer magnitude of the market in the Old Medina in Fes.

Bike repair shop.
