Ruins of a Different Sort

Near the Algerian border, an entire town had been demolished, apparently to build a lake.



Row after row of houses. Plus, of course, the library, cafes, and other stores you can sort of make out amidst the rubble.

What the heck happened. Forget the hip hop classes --- buy a boat and get go into the cruise business. Bring people to "your" hotel, pool, etc.
How sad that the town's destroyed! What a diverse place.
