My pilot, Gaston, flies rescue missions from various airports in the south. When he receives a call that someone is seriously ill where there is no medical care, he flies to get them and take them to a hospital. Fuel is so expensive in the Congo (when it is available at all) that many pilots go to Lusaka, Zambia to buy it.
