Ghanzi to Maun, Botswana

Here is a picture of the guy who let us stay at his house. As it turns out, he had to drive to Maun the following morning, so he took us along.
The Kalahari looks like this. Plus lots and lots of donkeys and cows and goats in the road. And the occasional village with thatch-roof huts.
This river, near the bottom of the Okavango Delta, hasn't been this full in years. Botswana has had a lot of rain.
