For over 100 miles, white rivers and streams keep you company as you drive to Banff and then towards Jasper. They look so close to white, at times I wondered whether they were actually frozen, and I was just looking at ice.
These rivers and streams get their color from glaciers. The glaciers apparently grind out sediment in such a way that the color often looks milky. It's a sight to behold, and although I didn't snap many shots of it, those incredible colors will be among my most significant memories from this trip.
